A mobile app is currently in development. For now, Capturly is available on macOS and Windows desktops only.

Online Mode allows you to record with up to 4 remote guests using peer-to-peer (P2P) technology. Each person records locally while communicating in real-time.
No. The host needs a Pro or Lifetime license. Guests can use the Free tier.
Up to 4 total participants (host + 3 guests) in a room.
No. Guests just need to download Capturly and enter the room code. No account required.
The call (what you hear/see in real-time) depends on internet quality. However, the recording quality is always full local quality since each person records their own feed.

The recording up to the crash point may be salvageable depending on when the crash occurred. Capturly writes data regularly, so most of your recording should be safe.
Yes. Virtual devices like OBS Virtual Camera and virtual audio cables work with Capturly.
Recordings: Never. All recordings are stored locally on your computer.
Online Mode: Only signaling data (connecting peers) goes through our servers. Actual audio/video streams go directly between participants (P2P).
